The Role of an Insomnia Store Manager:

As a valued member of our team, you will immerse yourself in our love for all things coffee and make each cup heavenly for all!

Between putting a smile on customer’s faces with your latte art, getting to know your customers, ensuring perfection with every drink made, and making sure that the shop is spick & span, you will become a valued member of the Insomnia family, working with your other coffee lover team mates.

Your responsibilities & duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • General day-to-day running and administration of your store
  • Ensuring that coffee standards are maintained
  • Ensuring that the branch achieves agreed goals
  • Managing and coaching your team to reach business goals and ensure a high quality of service
  • Recruitment – in partnership with your Regional Manager you will recruit and train new team members
  • Submitting weekly rosters and timesheets to payroll and following all payroll procedures as required by the company
  • Submitting weekly sales and operations reports as per company procedures
  • Ordering and managing stock and conducting monthly stock takes to achieve best possible results for your store
  • Deal with customer complaints and issues arising
  • Managing waste
  • Act as H&S lead for the store and ensure HACCP standards are maintained

Candidates’ requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience of managing a team in a fast-paced environment, preferably a coffee / retail / fast food / hospitality environment
  • Experience of a process driven environment where high standards are maintained by frequent audits and due diligence requirements.
  • Available to work a 40 hour a week, to include weekend shifts.
