Cheshire East’s free healthy lifestyle service for people living in the area is reaching out to all smokers to take advantage of its free support to quit the habit.
Whether you’ve been smoking for one year or 20, it’s never too late to stop. And by using free support from a service like One You Cheshire East, you are three times more likely to quit than if you were to go it alone.
One You Cheshire East will give you your own personal health coach, who will work with you to set a quit date to work towards. It’ll all be done at your own pace, and your health coach will be on-hand to advise you about nicotine replacement products and other stop-smoking medicines, should you feel you need them.
Quitting can sometimes be a challenge, but the benefits you’ll see will be worth it. You’ll improve your own health, and the health of your family and others around you. You’ll have extra money in your pocket, better life expectancy and a sense of accomplishment.
One You Cheshire East is provided by health experts Reed Wellbeing. Tom Brunwin, their national operations manager for integrated health, said: “Last year, Reed Wellbeing supported more than four and a half thousand people to stop smoking.
“Our health coaches are experts in working with people to develop personalised plans that help them quit smoking by their agreed quit date.
“If you live in Cheshire East, we can help you to kick the habit for good, and we won’t charge you a penny. In fact, you’ll save money from quitting – just one of the amazing benefits of stopping smoking.
“There’s no reason not to give it a go – we would love to hear from you and start your journey to a life without cigarettes.”
