ZAYN Malik has recorded himself taking a drag from a “suspicious cigarette” in a music video for his fans.
The upload comes just days after a selfie posted on Instagram by the star, 25, had his fans begging him to quit smoking.
Singing a cover of I Can’t Make You Love Me by Bonnie Raitt, Zayn inhales the cig before launching into the classic using a heavily filtered effect.
Fans once again implored him to give up smoking, writing: “Dont smoke 😭😒.
“Please don’t smoke zayn :” @zayn it’s not good for yourself.
“Please it will kill your voice😢.”
Similar comments were found on his close up smoking selfie over the weekend.
One particularly concerned fan urged: “hello @zayn I want you to stop smoking I’m worried about you, well we’re worried about you, I know that smoking helps in your creative process. I’m just telling you not to smoke so much I do not want you to hurt yourself.”
Last year Zayn discussed his cannabis use in an interview with NME.
He explained: “It helps sometimes with the creative process, if you’re smoking a good weed.
“I’ve probably been smoking [it] for a while.’
“I don’t wanna say when I started because I don’t want to influence anyone else. That’s just something I do myself.

Uploading a video to Instagram, Zayn can be seen lying on a table as New York tattooist Megan Massacre works on the intricate chest tat.
Zayn captioned the shot: “Red Wolf @megan_massacre.”
The new tat covered up a preexisting stag head design that he had done during his One Direction days.
